The P-type feature defines the simplest technology for IDC connector for magnet wire. It breaks the enamel layer when being inserted vertically.
Magnet wire must be located in a simple dedicated groove in the plastic housing, similar to the classic approach.
Electrical connection stability is reached by deformable spring load (press-fit like) geometry. It maintains the pin and conductive core of magnet wire in contact.
